The Nehru Zoological Park at Hyderabad is headed by a
Conservator of Forest,/Director (I.F.S cadre) and Assisted by Curator,(I.F.S )
and an Asst. Conservator of Forests in day to day running and maintenance of the
Zoo. The Finance i.e.,Receipts and Expenditure is looked after by Accounts Officer. The
Zoo has four sections namely (a) Animal Section, (b) Garden Section, (c) Watch & Ward Section and (d) Maintenance
Section. Each section is
headed by a supervisor who works under the control of Asst. Curators. The
sanctioned strength is 373 staff members.
